General
Dichroic, Inc website is a secure site and all transactions are safe. Your information is never sold or shared. Dichroic, Inc only contacts customers if there is a question or problem with an order, or to send out Dichroic, Inc promotional or sales information. Prices are subject to change. Orders not Fulfilled
It is our civil right to refuse to do business with any person or company and to cancel, with a full refund, any order that may be considered being used for the intention of coping our products or for duplicating our sources. This policy is backed by law and is everyones legal right in effect since 1915 in the United States."
Shipping
Dichroic Inc uses USPS Priority Mail for most orders shipped in the United States. On occasions of especially large shipments Dichroic, Inc. may use UPS to ship. Most orders mail out within 24 to 72 business hours. Etched glass is made to order and may add up to 5 days to ship date. No shipments are sent out on holidays or weekends. Dichroic, Inc. is not responsible for shipping delays, such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, acts of God, or mailing strikes. Other delays on orders can be due to invalid addresses or mistakes while entering customer information. We ONLY notify by e-mail in such situations.
Insurance
Shipping insurance is optional but HIGHLY recommended. We try to package our products with great care but if packages are lost in shipment or arrive damaged Dichroic, Inc. cannot be held responsible. If you want your package to be insured you must check the box requesting insurance on the checkout page and any costs will be added to your order. Note: All deliveries that are insured will require a signature.
Damage Claims
Insurance is an optional choice, if insurance selection is made during checkout and there is damage to the merchandise, it should be brought to the carriers attention upon delivery. If you see any obvious damage, note it on the delivery slip that you sign. Call your local USPS office to schedule an inspection of the damage.
Lost Orders
On a rare occasion, an order will be lost in shipping. Once an order has left our shipping department, use of the USPS or UPS tracking number must be used. We do our best to provide all needed information to assist you in recovery and/or replacement. We do encourage our customers to pay for the optional insurance coverage to cover any losses for an order, especially, for high dollar value orders. Once the package leaves our possession it is the customers responsibility. Please call us at (530) 878-7483 to discuss any shipping concerns. General Return Policy
For wholesale and retail customers any exchanges for credit must be done within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. No cash refunds are given. We offer exchanges and credits only. In the event of order error customers must contact Dichroic, Inc. at (888)944-3667 within 10 days of product purchase. On such occasions Dichroic, Inc requires that merchandise is returned before is it replaced. Dichroic, Inc tries very hard to make sure all orders are filled correctly. However, in the event of order error due to Dichroic, Inc error, product will be replaced. In such an event, Dichroic, Inc requires merchandise be returned and will credit shipping costs to customer account once recieved. After product is returned a replacement will be sent at no extra charge. Otherwise general return policy applies. All sales are final on customer special order or custom items. Dichroic, Inc. is not responsible for items ordered or shipped due to consumer error or lost or stolen packages. This includes ordering the wrong COE, size or color. All returns are subject to 15% restocking fee and must notify Dichroic, Inc. within 10 business days after receipt of order. Dichroic, Inc. does not refund or give credit for shipping charges. Any approved refunds will be credited to the customers account that was used for original payment. Refunds may take up to two billing cycles to appear on account statements.
International Orders
Dichroicinc.com is now accepting international orders from select countries. Customers who reside in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, most countries in Western Europe, China and Japan may order online. International orders are shipped via United States Postal Service Priority International mail. All duties and/or fees imposed by international customers home country are the sole responsiblity of the customer. Once international orders have been shipped Dichroic, Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise, or for any delays in shipping. It is highly recommended for customers to be advised of their countries policies on receiving international goods before placing an order.
